“The freedom to make my own decisions brings me happiness. I make my own decisions regardless of what anyone thinks or tells me. People always try to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do but at the end of the day you make the best decision for yourself. When I turned 18 I did my mandatory military service in Israel and I had such a great time and met some great people so I extended my military service, a decision my parents disapproved of. After finishing my time with the army my family urged me to start school but I decided to go travel instead and It’s been a great decision. Now I’m finally ready to start university in March and I’ll be studying electrical engineering. I think it’s an advantage to start school when you’re older because you have more time to figure out what you actually want to do with your life.”
